Reunion 2016 – What can the Scout’ corporate partnerships do for you?

As well as to have a good time, lots of leaders come to Reunion to learn about the activities and programme ideas they can bring back to their groups for weekly meetings and to go towards their badges.

Reunion is a unique opportunity for some of The Scout Association’s corporate and charity partners to showcase their contributions to the Scout programme, we sent Josh to find out more.

The Alzheimers Society are involved with A Million Hands who are encouraging Scouts to become dementia friends.

We’ve had some amazing ones [successes]…we’re coming up to 10,000 Scouts becoming dementia friends, which is awesome.

Josh also spoke to some long standing partnerships like pets at home who brought a number of different small animals onto site

Any opportunity we get to promote responsible pet ownership we are really, really passionate about.

One of the more recent partnerships is Vodafone who told Josh

We’re really excited about what we can achieve… we’re really interested in people coming forward with ideas.
